    Hoosier Hang Spring 2021

I hope everyone is excited to get out to the woods. Well let's go to Hoosier National Forest Deam Wilderness CV2 area April 23rd-25. Everyone from anywhere is welcome to attend. We will even accept ground dwellers(no protection from ridicule).

Countrybois will post a signup sheet to get an idea of the attendees and expected arrival date.

It's been a long haul this past year. Would be great to see a large turnout! Being an old fart, I will have both vaccinations before then. We will attempt to socially distance as we did last fall. Don't think anyone died from that one.

Hope to see old friends and make some new ones!

    Directions to find us....

Park at Hickory Ridge Lookout Tower.
Follow trail out the back of the parking lot, right turn on to Sycamore Trail, follow that until you see the sign for campsite 2, turn left before you cross the creek. From here you will be off-trail (ish...it's been getting more and more use so there may be a faint trail).

Follow that creek North, you'll cross, or pass(depending on which side of the creek you're on) a feeder ditch on the left.

Continue following the main creek. Just past the second feeder ditch (on the left) there will be a large grassy opening. Follow that grassy area back keeping that feeder ditch on your left and you'll find us tucked back in there .

Also I would like to try and have a raffle. I think more people might come if we had one.

The opinions expressed by this user are not those of a competent individual. If they were that would mean I know what I am talking about.

I don't know why we would need 2 sign- ups on different platforms. That only gets confusing. A link on FB to this page would be sufficient IMO.

That said, I re- arranged my time off and plan to be there. Looking forward to seeing you guys again.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver

Scott there is not 2 sign ups. On Facebook you cannot list who you are bringing ect. What's confusing?
