Am sorry to miss this event as it's practically in my back yard. I'll be out of town. Will have to travel elsewhere to see people's set ups. Hope you have good weather!!!

There's often something going on the following week or so. Usually the folks who couldn't make the HF Hang for one reason or another. A couple weeks after that, the wild mushrooms start popping and a few more of us get out again.

Too early for a weather check, but I had to look anyway. ~63/42°. Perfection.

Now if you could get the lows to drop another 10° that would be great. I'll be rocking a 15° Superior Hammock and my biggest fears are lows that are too warm. It will be a test.

Bringing my 30 degree Sheltowee/Bonefire kit. If the Superior's insulation factor is anything close to the same, you will be roasting in those temps. I lasted 15 minutes last fall before having to strip out of my base layers in mid 30's Probably the first time I've done that.

Also with the insulation always where it's suppose to be and being full length asym, it seems a lot warmer than my 40/20 kit, with 2/3rds length UQ. Able to leave my sit pad at home as well because I don't need it in the footbox anymore. That was tough because I love that thing, but don't need it, don't bring it!

And that will do it for me then. Thanks for the heads up. Not sure the road construction favors my road trip anyway. Have a great time and watch where you step and even more so where you decide to filter.

I may be around but it will be somewhere else less traveled,

Yeah last time I was there I set up and found out my hammock was under some cat holes. When I went last weekend the something happened. It's so full of cat holes. I will be there but I am camping far away.

Poop! Makes my "ditch the filter and use only tablets" plan even more scary. Or better? No winner either way.
