    How many nights?

I'm just curious about how many nights a year everyone sleeps in a hammock.
I've gotten a bit out of hand since I bought a hammock stand for inside.
On top of my 4-8 nights a month I go backpacking, I was also sleeping out back at least two nights a week. The main thing that kept me out of a hammock were the nights that I did not feel like setting a tarp and a hammock up when it was late.
Now I have an indoor hammock stand as an option as well.
When sleeping in a hammock, the pain in my neck from a car accident several years ago never seems to get as bad as when I'm sleeping in a normal bed.
I think I'll be in the "200+ club " for times per year in a hammock.
Just thought I'd see how much the rest of you hangers hang.

I'm lucky to get about 12-20 nights a year in my hamock and still stay married.

    Wilderness Hangs only:
    2-3 years ago about 90/yr
Now days about 60/yr - more tent-tarp-bivy nights in high country.

Last year: 345 nights in a hammock. So far this year 1 night in a bed due to knee issues: I couldn't get up on the bed to get in the hammock. My back hurt so much the next morning I think it would have been better to take the hurt of getting up to the hammock.

09 outside hammock nights: about 100.
This year outside hammock nights about 30.

    I'm usually 24 - 30 nights a year in my hammock.

Now the trick will be to see if I can find a spot to set up at Augusta National next weekend. The sign says "no cameras or cell phones", but I have yet to see "no hammocks".

I made a promise to myself (and the mrs) a while ago to get out every month for at least 2 or 3 nights, nearly eighteen months later and I've managed to stick to it with the exception of December last year.
Most of my trips these days are canoe based, usually touring new lochs in Scotland so each trip is an adventure in its own right. I'm not bothered about weather so it's usually right through the year for me.
