    Question Looking for fabric suggestions????

Alright after trying out the ENO and GT double hammocks,
    http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=14589
I am thinking of making my own now. Both of the hammocks seem a little small for me and seem to have quite a bit of stretch in them. I am 6'3" and 366lbs HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY I was thinking definitely double layer and at least 12 foot in length x 60" wide. I was contemplating pairing the 1.1 oz ripstop from the group buy with some 1.9 oz ripstop. Just wanted some input and thoughts from those of you here. thanks

At an inch shorter than you I find 11' hammocks to be just fine. Not sure if 1.9+1.1 will do the job but double 1.9 should be fine.

I'd recommend the Warbonnet whipping that I show here for security.

1.1 + 1.9 will only be slightly heavier duty than the eno fabric i think which is around 2.5-3.0 . if the eno stretches too much for you, you might want double 1.9

Thanks warbonnetguy...the ENO does stretch a little but not as much as the GT..the GT seems to be a little larger though..
