Hey guys, I was just curious if a jrb mw3 uq will work well with a warbonnet gathered end hammock such as the blackbird, xlc, or elderado? Has anyone tried this? Thanks for the help!

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I think I've seen a Shug video where he ran that combo, should conceivably work.
I do it. It works great.
This is cool ... I came to the JRB forum specifically because I have a Warbonnet Traveler XL and a JRB Mt Washington 3 UQ that I was thinking of putting together with an appropriate TQ for winter camping ...
Both have gone somewhat unused because I have a sweet, very light setup for "three-season" backpacking. I built a pulk back in 2008 for Ski Patrol Mountain Travel and Rescue training. Since then I've only employed it for occasional ice-fishing ... So Winter opens up the perfect season to put all those together for some winter ops!
(I will admit, Shug's posts about winter camping via pulk was, as always, inspirational.)
I'll get the JRB and Traveler out and put together for some pics in the near term ...

Some where on this forum, from probably 11 or 12 year ago, is my test of the MW4 on a WBBB. Most of that testing was done on a JRB 1st gen Bear Mtn Bridge Hammock, where it worked superbly down to 10F or so. But one very windy 18F night with a less than perfect tarp situation( IOW, at least some wind got to me), I tested it on the WBBB. I remember it was a bit of a hassle to get the foot end adjusted "right" so that it would stay in place without slipping off. But once I did, I ended up with a very toasty night. It could not have worked any better.
Hey, I can't believe it, I found the ancient test/post for the original MWUQ on an original WBBB. Post #9 on this thread from Dec 08:
