The standard, channel on each side, has worked for many vendors. HG upped the anti a bit by adding secondary suspension to provide a little more lift at the ends. But you can do that easily yourself with the traditional channel suspension if your hammock has a ridge line. Just put S-biners (or some other “clip”) on the ridge line at the foot and head end of the ridge line, then gather and clip both left/right channel suspension bungees as they leave the UQ on their way to the single point connection at the end of the hammock. The lift towards the ridge line that the S-biner gives will keep the ends snug. You can see where to put the S-biner so it works best for you and mark the spot somehow.
