No. I stuff it in a compactor bag in my pack. The only other thing in there is my clothes bag.

I recently did a bigger NS50 .5 oz/sq yd project (a bug net to hang under a tarp for canoe tripping).

I'm a novice with a sewing machine...but I found sewing NS50 (the RBTR site says it's 2nd gen and easier to sew) to be quite easy for long straight runs. I did not pin or tape the mesh, just held it by hand, and I did not hem the edges. At the corners I put tie-outs and used some seam-sealer to reinforce stitching. Does not look very pretty but it's quite functional and it could not be lighter. Believe the total seam length of NS50 I sewed was 32 feet.

So I say go for it.

Two other ideas if you really don't want to sew it yourself:
    1) reddit has a myog commissions site: https://www.reddit.com/r/MYOGcommissions/
    2) try a local tailor / sewing shop. Can't imagine this would be very expensive.

Good luck, share some pics/info on the final product when you are done.

I think you already have one of the best with your SLD bottom entry. I would spend the effort and time looking at something else in the pack. I have sewn a lot of projects using the .5 and .7. Everyone I put .5 mesh on I wished I had used the .7 after getting time in the field.

    Just one mans opinion
