    Greylock 4/JRB question

I got my new Greylock 4 and High Sierra Sniveller in the mail today! Thanks JRB - they look great! The dark olive goes great with my WB Eldorado's color.

A question about the Greylock - is the head and foot end interchangeable? I see the JRB tag sewn on one side, I didn't know whether to place it at the head or foot end of the hang...thanks in advance!

Tag at the head end, should say in the instructions they send with the quilt. Pretty sure all UQ's are made that way?

Either end can be used as the head or foot.

Yeah, either end. I think it is more or less rectangular. Looks like you may have gotten it just in time for a cold blast. I bet it will handle it with ease. Just snug that baby up with the main suspension, then add a little secondary if needed to counter any sag in the middle/accordion. The is needed, cinch up the ends just a bit. Mine is so warm!

I know this is a little OT but I still have a lack of understanding when it comes to "primary" & "secondary" suspension.
If the primary is the part that runs through the channels going the length of the quilt? And the end cinches are just that, so what is the secondary?

Thanks...I am heading out for a two-nighter next week and I'll be ready for the chilly temps. So glad they had these in-stock and ready to go.

Here is a thread I created to show a mod I did to a different UQ, inspired by the clever way JRB has added a secondary suspension to the Greylocks. The 3rd paragraph explains how the secondary suspension works.

    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...eries-Habanero

The image below shows a GL4 with JRB's secondary suspension. Instead of a bunch of extra shock cord like many UQ's secondary suspensions use, this method only adds 4 cordlocks and some grosgrain and thread to attach them to the quilt.
