I did a overnight trip on Sunday...came in from the south in a front-wheel drive vehicle - took it slow and made it to Pinchin. When I was walking down 105 from Conley trailhead there were a few spots that were bad on the road, but I didn’t drive back north to test my Escape...I might try to make it out for Thurs night if I don’t have to work some OT.

Lotta good memories from Wiseman's View with our Scout Troop 51 in the 1970s. Hickery and I were in the same troop and our Scout Masters would drive down to Wiseman's and cut us loose. This is way before the parking area and paved trails.
We were all into Ecology Now.
    Ya'll have fun.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver

Great memories. And nice air off the cinder blocks
Makes me appreciate all the folks keeping the gorge clean over the years.

Looking forward to it, anything I can bring hit me up. I'll do what I can. I think I'll come in the south side. It is about the same time either way. Look forward to meeting some of you. Superxmag
