    Winter Storm Hammock Camping

Are you free for about 20 minutes? Spend those 20 minutes watching me set up, prepare my gear, and camp out in my hammock during the tail end of Monday's snow storm, including 35 mile per hour winds and 5 degree windchill. Give it a look.

That is true dedication to hammocking when you spend a 15 degree night outside with the house right there!

That looks awesome! Looks like you had fun and I wish you some nice crisp nights ahead.

And not unlike what I did last night. Who needs a trail when we have curfews and trees in the garden Well YMMV on the curfew part. Given where you are vs. me and looking at yesterday's weather radar on Weather Underground, we seem to have been on opposite ends of the same weather system there. We only went to about 20F last night and added 2.5" of snow.

Also Pro Tip for anyone reading this (Tree Rhino did it right - I didn't). When you set up your tarp in the dark, make sure it's the right side is "up", so you don't come back 2 hours later to actually go to sleep and ask yourself why there's snow sticking to the outside and you can't find the pull outs
