UQP with removable Climashield and LST

After recenty converting my UQP into a LST using plastic KAM snaps I also started pondering the idea of adding insulation to the same UQP to supplement my 20 degree underIMG_2207.jpgquilt in sub 20 degree weather below 2.5 Apex climashield snap-in insulation utilizing existing LST KAM snaps on UQP. I decided not to back the climashield for now as extra weight savings and because I would only be taking the added insulation on colder winter hangs. The APEX alone with a few snaps weighs in at 10.5 oz and could also be used as summer insulation without an underquilt. Rough cut with no sewing involved although it could be hemmed. I have become a big fan of KAM snaps.
