    Video: Solo winter overnighter on the Mountains to Sea Trail - Linville Gorge

    Like so many others this time of year I was excited to get out and do some hiking and camping in the snowy conditions. Really is one of my favorite times to be in the woods, had a blast!

    Loved the beautiful snowy views of the Gorge - spectacular! Cracked me up when you said it’s 345 but wanted to wait until 4 to get the fire going - counting the minutes out in the wilderness

    Great report! Looked like a windy challenge, but also looks like it was no issue for you! That nice fire looked like it made for a more cheerful evening. The coyotes singing added to the atmosphere!
