Hey all, I live in Quincy but camp/hike all over the pacific coast and cascades.
I'm not much of a chatterbox, but I do hope to lurk and learn from the collective experience of this forum.
I look forward to meeting you all : )

Can’t wait to get on the other side of Covid, seems like lots of folks here in the PNW.
Love to do an easy-ish group trip somewhere in the spring.
Welcome, Tri-Cities is my home.

Welcome from Vancouver Wa. A pic from last week on the eastside of Mt. Saint Helen's....IMG_6616.jpg
There's a hang south of Mt. Hood (10th Annual Yeti Hang - Jan 15-17 2021) if you're so inclined to snowshoe/pulk in about a half mile from parking. Last year was about 4' of snow just before the event, then temps above freezing tested a number of tarps with snow bombs.
Welcome to the good life!
I'm certainly not from there, but i have had some grand adventures climbing Mt. Baker in the summer, and sleeping in snow caves on the side of Baker in Dec, plus I had my 2nd week long adventure in a hammock along the Hoh River towards the Blue Glacier on Mt. Olympus in Olympic National Park. So, I love and am envious of Yall's beautiful, spectacular country out there!
Welcome. I am in Wenatchee and am a retired full time day hiker, backpacker, skier. I own at least 6 hammocks and prefer to hang, but I also go out with a couple of guys that are not only ground hogs, but often camp above tree line so I own a tent also. I have lots of places identified in the Icicle, Entiat, Chelan Sawtooths, Chiwawa and Pasayten Wilderness I want to hammock camp in.
