Would live to be there. Might have to take a pass. Hope to be recovering from surgery by then.
Good luck on your surgery. Good rehab is dreaming bout your hammock rigged in Uwharries

Susan - Hope all goes well with the surgery. Prayers for ya Although I'm not a therapist, I would recommend sitting around a warm campfire and gentle walks for keeping your strength up and staying limber. The lies and coffee can't hurt either and then you can return home before night.....
Still waiting for the extended snow forecast for that weekend . . . . . Hanging in da snow would be Cool Lol

Not to be offensive, I totally love humans of all ages. But I'm curious as to whether there are any others in their 20's that attend these things, or if I'll be the odd man out. Cool with it either way, just wondering what to expect. See ya there ~~
With me and my 2 kids, our average age is 18, does that count?
By the way, my early tests of my tuna can stove indicate I've got some work to do on making it more efficient and fast. The extra width of the can uses more felt which requires more alcohol to get started but it does get a long enough burn to boil a half liter in about 8 minutes. Might need to add the nitro after all.

Over the years I have seen toddlers to folks in the their late 70's attend the hang. Just luck of the draw each time who shows up.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
We have a wide range of ages. Parents or parent sometimes bring their young children. Two oldest hammock campers around here, are 74 and 80. Some campers are couples in various age ranges. And others don’t have anyone to argue with until they get here.
There are both men and women hammock creatures.
Most of us are men age 40 to 60
Things most of us have in common—hammocks, campfires, coffee, swapping lies,
Kennyray, Max and I will be there!!
