Hammock Fabric Questions

I just bought a Chameleon in Hexon 1.2, VERY soft. Doesn't feel like it's overly stretchy compared to my DIY HyperD 1.6. only had a chance to hang out once as it's been raining non-stop since Christmas.

Any reason you chose the Hexon 1.2 vs the new MTN 1.2 fabric? I'm searching for lightweight fabrics for backpacking now and deciding between those, or possibly the Hexon 1.0.

I believe that Hexon was the only choice in fabrics for the chameleon when I ordered. I've read good things about Hexon being very cloth like and I agree.

I have a DIY hammock made of HyperD 1.6 which I really like, but wanted to try something a little lighter that would still take my weight (200lbs depending on holidays). I've only had a chance to hang it a couple times between rain storms but it feels very comfortable.

Maybe you can get some fabric samples to compare feel.

Well, I don't have so much experience sleeping in a hexon hammock, but it feels less stretchy.
