    Winter Hang in Louisville?

Putting post out to see if there is any interest in having a Winter Hang in Jan or Feb. Camp in Jefferson Mem Forest. Primitive sites, drive car up to site. That way we can have a load of wood delivered or brought in and would be able to bring what you need for warmth. I would need to call and see if water will be on. There is a spigot on site. Over looks Louisville, no leaves on trees we should have a really great view of downtown. The site in question will hold close to 20 or more hammocks and there is room for tents. Summer time rates for the site was 30 a nite and everytime we had a hang, nobody had to pay more than 5 bucks for weekend. More that shows the cheaper it is. I believe Winter rates are cheaper. Nothing is concrete just seeing if we have any interest.

Depending on how much time I have for notice, I would be in. Things are chaotic at work, so I have to plan ahead.
    Thanks,

I could make the second, maybe the third weekend of January. After the 17th I have classes starting up, and we're even skipping Spring Break this year to get the Hell Semester 3.0 done and out of the way as soon as possible.

I'd say that 3 maybe 4 are a GREAT start for a camp. I'm in Louisville, TENNESSEE! lol but I'm still lookin' at this. To be honest, a 3-5 person camp is almost ideal in many situations. If you build it they will come. Everyone is going to be enjoying it on their own level for their own reasons. We all like someone to give us an excuse to go.
What do you envision for meals/restroom use/campfire social distance would be a few of the topics to further conversation on this for my clarity.
I'm not above driving the "OTHER" Louisville to see how you northerners roll... lol!
Thank you for starting something up!

Well as far as restrooms they have port a pots. Food is usually Mountain man breakfast sat morning everyone pitch in a ingredient on a sign up sheet. Dinner sat night can be a potluck style or just everyone take care of themselves. Social distance???? Im in the woods with squirls and critters. I have no issues with all that. If people do they can distant themselves. Im not living in fear and not enjoy things i love.

I would be able to make it any time in Feb. In Jan the later half would be best. I haven't got to do a good hang all of 2020, so I need to get out. Being one of those workers that is needed all the time is rough some times.
