It's a long way to the top if you want to Rock and Roll ----- those hills!!!

What next? Go to Linville Gorge or any National forest land, just not a state park. NFS doesn't to have the regulations that state parks do. I'm sure there is some good place outside the state park. Just a little more primitive.
Roan High Knob Shelter; primitive, windy, cold - what's not to love?
We all second-guess the authorities who place restrictions on events during the pandemic, and we look for ways around them. Let's not lose sight of the possibility that there may be a good reason for them. This ain't over. I'm planning a solo hike in an undisclosed location in the Cranberry Wilderness.

I really hate this, especially for those making plans in advance.
The latest from Ranger Marcia...
"I don’t know if you heard, but the 10 person limit has been extended through the end of February. March is still a possibility, but we probably won’t know anything for another 3-4 weeks.
Hope you’re well!
Marci"
I'll make sure Hickery knows and y'all can discuss what you might want to do.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

How many groups would work?
Ha, that was brought up before but I'm sure it wouldn't be allowed. They know we'll be hanging out together
The park staff is going to follow the guide lines. They would be reprimanded in some way if it was discovered they had not.
Work has been keeping Hickery busy. Soon as he gets a chance he'll log in and share his thoughts.
