Talking ViDEO: 3 Night Winter Backpacking in BWCA

Got up to the a trail in BWCA with Jonah. Three nights out with 10 to 12 hours sleep a night. Whoooooo Buddy)))))
Dark by 4:30PM and sun not up until 7:00AM. Short days, long nights.
Slept in the Superior Gear Hammock again.
Real nice to get away from this world for a few days.

Was also on the Minnesota Bound Podcast and talked hammocks, trips, coffee, retirement and other bits of palaver.
Take a listen if you like that kind of thing....https://share.transistor.fm/s/1da5e1df

Nice PC and video Shug. Really surprised to hear that folks who know you won't let you have a "waterpistol". Impressive that the comforter arrangement kept the wind from robbing your warmth while acting as a UQP. Beautiful sunset !!! Thanks for sharing.

With that UQ sealed nary a puff of wind got in. That was cool as it was blowing really hard.
I just hunt with my eyes. Someone always gives me some meat. Works out well so far.
Did not get to have a mini-bike either. So went unicycle.

Thanks for mentioning the podcast Shug. I'm heading out for a trip in a couple hours with a 4hr drive...starting to prefer talk vs. music lately to pass the time.

I'll have to wait until next week to watch the video.

I feel lucky to have it right here in my State of Minnesota. About 5 hour drive North from home.
But you have great confectionary delights and chocolate and such so I envy that.

Really more to keep the inside of my Keen Growler dry...and it did.
I would have just worn my mukluks but walking 5 to 6 miles a day in them with barely any snow...they just don't support. In deep snow and with snowshoes just fine.
