    G'day from Sunshine Coast, Australia

    Hello everyone,
I'm getting back into camping because I've realised that a bit of forest therapy is good stuff on many levels.
I've tried a rooftop tent on my car, then a stretcher tent but I've decided to try hammock camping. I just like the fact that I don't have to worry as much about the ground condition and finding a level, clear spot.
I've been looking at heaps of Youtube videos (like Shugs great work) and websites like The Ultimate Hang and learned a lot but I'm hoping I can get some particular info about my hammock so I'll ask the question in the relevant thread and see how I go.

Here is a quick sketch showing a potential reason why hammock camping isn't as popular here in the great land down under

I saw that as I reading through the forums here ChrisJHC. Not a lot on YouTube though. It would've been good to know that you shouldn't setup under bunya pines with barefeet Maybe I'll make a video about that.
I hope you guys in Vic haven't copped this heatwave wandering about.
