    Hi ...

I'm new to hammockfforums.net and hammock camping in general. I spent my first significant time (hours at a time, not minutes) in a hammock in June 2020. I have significant chronic back and neck pain from a car accident a couple years ago. I was amazed at the possibility of laying "down" with much less pain while relaxing/sleeping in a hammock.

I'd love to connect and learn what experienced hangers have to offer.

Welcome to HF. You'll find a lot of members here who have found relief and healing by using a hammock regularly. I've slept in my hammock every night (and lots of naps) for over three years now and my chronic pain has gone away. If I overdo it while working or playing, a session in the hammock stretches and relaxes the muscles so that I'm not stiff and sore for days. I hope you find relief as well.

    Welcome Cody.

Sorry to hear about your pain issues.

    Merry Christmas.
