    Cinch Bugs vs Beatle Buckles

Looking to upgrade my suspension and still use webbing. From what I can deduce the BB's are going to be easier to adjust when the hammock, quilts, etc. are hooked up, is that true?
Any other pros and cons i should be aware of? Any other options that you think are better?

    I have both
I used the cinch bugs for a few years on some camo straps
I bow have Beatle buckles on some poly webbing
    They are basically the same
I dont find one easier to adjust then the other
I believe the buckle has the added benefit of having the pole grommet
The biggest benefit for me was the new stiffer webbing
    Cant go wrong with either

I did see that the BB's had the ability to use his spreader, we do sleep off the same tree w/ a spreader often and right now I just have a ENO one, so that's a consideration.

I have seen a video showing that to adjust the CB's you have to do it in little steps of pulling out the one piece and then pulling back w/ the strap (if that makes sense). The BB's seemed more like an adjustable cinch buckle, but I don't know if that's really the case.

I currently use Beetle Buckles. Cinch bugs look to be very similar to BBs in method of use. I’ve never used CBs so I can’t do a direct comparison.

The small tab handle built into the BB adjustment slider was the selling point for me. They are easy to adjust and my setup time seems faster and easier to dial in my sag angle as compared to MSH and toggles or j-bend or a becket hitch. That is just my experience and I’m fairly new to hanging.

I do the sag tweaking with the insulation in and on the hammock to have it a bit weighted down. The weight seems to help to adjust.

The only con that I can imagine is if you rely on hardware and one of your buckles fell off the strap on the trail somewhere at your last campsite. It would be good to understand how to rig your hang with a style of knot. Either buckle style falling off the strap is unlikely, but it could happen.

If your current suspension style uses knots, I think you have that already covered.
