Thanks for the trip report, awesome scenery Northern Minnesota is definitely on my list. Shug have you tried the bug net that comes with the hammock and if so how does it attach. Thanks

Great video, and your timing was perfect. I have been looking at those hammocks for my dear wife. Your real world test sealed the deal.
When I saw the temp after your first night, I thought for sure that was going to be the end of that. I was very impressed with the way things worked out for you.
Hey Shug, a little winter hanging by the lolligager in chief was just what I needed. I had often thought of an integrated hammock/underquilt but have been too lazy to make one. I'm glad that it performed so well.
Keep on truck'n brah!
Cheers

Great review and trip, Shug! I always suspected that this approach would work superbly, and it looks like it did indeed.
I've got those same booties and have had them for I couldn't tell you how many years. 20? Maybe. When I set my personal best at a balmy(for you) +6F, I was sleeping in them. Toasty feet all night.
To be honest it is really nice to not fiddle with the UQ attached.
It was fun sleeping in a whole new rig....and being good and warm as well.
When I would slip those booties on...instant warmth.
I never do sleep in them though. The one time I did I got cold feet!

Very cool video. Very interesting hammock. The part you mention about the add over thing that snaps in and goes over the top sound really cool. Anyway I really liked the video too. I really liked your BBQ video I watched it with the wife. The coffee video recently was really fun to watch too.

Enjoyed watching you tramping and hanging in the snow. Looked like a mighty fine time. I’ve got some booties like that - I’m gonna have to check how water / snow resistant they are. Looks like a good solution for around camp.
