Yeah it’s been really great - one of the nights I was camped on a high ridgeline with very strong winds - hung tarp low and steeply pitched in storm mode and was able to stay warm and comfortable. I’ve found it to be versatile. At some point I’ll probably also get a HG Winter Palace.

I think I like the door design of the Mountain/Thunder/Mini Fly series better than the full doors on the Superfly/Palace type of tarps. Pitching them in the beak-type configuration allows easier access without opening and closing the doors every time you want to enter. I wonder how long it will be before someone offers beak-type doors in a DCF tarp?

Do you have some kind of interior expansion (internal pole mod)? In the second photo, it appears the tarp is a bit wider than “A” shape but I don’t see panel pulls.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

Hi, no panel pulls or pull mods. I have a couple of trekking pulls on the corner pull outs in the 2nd photo.

Just cut the doors on HG tarp or add a piece onto a Standard. It is super simple to trim DCF or add on to.

The picture is a Palace with a section I added to the doors to make more of a vestibule when pitched wide for my bridge. You could easily do similar for the beaks.

Here is a picture from the inside showing off my socks.
