    Unless it's going to be wall-to-wall fog, rain and constant drenching humidity, you're not going to have any problems with those quilts at those temperatures.

    Even HG's Econ line utilizes DWR-treated down, which also helps a lot. Some years back — when DWR down was first introduced — I had my doubts about whether it would work at all and whether it would remain effective over time. At this point I've had excellent results for a few years in a row so I'm now a believer.

    Hammocked many times in that temp range. You have nothing to worry about. Enjoy and have a good time.

    Good to know about the DWR. Sounds like a good reason to get a new quilt! I love down, but suffered one night well above my bags range due to floating in the air mist that saturated the bag. It did an OK job, but I was cold enough to not be able to sleep. I didn’t realize these coatings were being used with down now.
