    VIDEO: Winter Backpacking in the Boundary Water Canoe Area

    An early winter backpacking trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area provided snow, ice, great weather and breath taking views and sunset. The Angleworm Trail is a 13 mile loop around Angleworm, Home, and Whiskey Jack lakes. We backpacked through the snow and completed the loop in 2 days. We camped at Whiskey Jack Lake and the sunset (and its reflection on the icy lake) were one of the best I have seen.

    That was a GREAT video! Beautiful scenery. And you are exactly right, why do we go camping in the middle of nowhere? For those incredible moments like that.
