The problem with this are your tarp guy lines. I haven't had any issues, but this rule is pretty clear about the requirements.
I just learned before going out there last month that the State Parks have bumped that to over an 1" (if I remember correctly). I bought some 2" wide Pythons just because I knew we were going to be in some of the SPs on our kayaking trip.
