It looks like the sheet/quilt combo might resist drafts better than a standard UQ? I see they also make an insulated pad with a 5+ R value.
Do you mean better than a standard TQ? Although I’ve never owned one, I’ve never been sold on the idea of the standard TQ pad attachment systems or neck closure/lack of hood. The Zenbivy system appealed much more to me.
So far it has worked as desired. It stays in place while I move around freely and comfortably and also keeps the drafts out.
Yes, I’d say Zenbivy’s 4-season pad looks quite nice. And I’d expect it to be since the founder worked as a product developer for Therm-a-Rest and Sierra Designs for many years. I’d like to try it, especially since I still have yet to try a pad with verticals baffles in the bridge hammock. Curious to see how different it might make the lay.
