VIDEO: Hiking 100 Miles in the North Woods | Maine

My friend and I spent 6 days hiking the 100 Mile Wilderness in Maine. We had mostly good weather except for very heavy rain one night which caused the rivers to rise like crazy and the last day. Tried to put a lot of footage into 20 minutes but I think it worked! Hope you like it!

Enjoyable video. I wonder how many miles you actually hiked if you add in all the times you had to go back to pick up your camera lol. Thanks for sharing.

Great video! Looks like a really pretty part of the AT too.

I've been on an outing or two where it's rained so much, the river rose to pretty dangerous levels. Kinda scary & makes you realize you really need to be on your guard at times.

    Thanks for posting!

Awesome video and trip!! I left a comment on you tube so not to repeat myself, but I will say again that I loved the footage of the rainy windy day!! Nasty weather usually makes some of the best memories.. and that waterfall at the end!! Stunning!! Thanks for posting!!

Yea they were pretty high. Wish I had got some of the waist deep crossings on film, but I didn't want to push my luck ;o) Thanks for watching!

    Fantastic hike and superb video!

The trails appeared to be in very good shape... not a lot of blowdowns?

Indeed, those nasty days can be the most memorable... as long as every day isn't like that.

Yea they weren't that bad. Trail maintenance has probably stopped for the year but still only a few blow downs! Thanks for watching!!!
