Question how does a bandit clinch shut around the neck?

I have a HG burrows and when I want to clinch the quilt around my neck the cord is in the top center of the quilt right below my chin.....where does UGQ put theirs?

I'm trying to decide between a 20 degree HG burrow and a 20 degree UGQ bandit and this feature will be the deciding point. I prefer the cord to be in the top center and not on the sides.

    thanks

Video HERE says it's on the side. (Link goes to exact time in video for the discussion!)

I'm with you... I prefer it in the middle.

What cmoulder said. There's one cinch on each of the top corners of the quilt laid flat. That means when it's snapped you lay on top of them. The one thing I don't like about the Bandit.

thank you both. I saw the video on UGQ talking about the bandit after I posted this and couldn't delete the post. WB quilts are on the side also and I think loco libre's are in the middle so I will add that to the mix

I modified my bandit to have the cinch in the middle- not to hard. I kept getting tangled in the strings on the side/ under my back and they were uncomfortable to lay on.

Sounds like I’m in the minority here, but I prefer the side cinching of my Bandit topquilt over the middle cinching of my HG Econ and my LL Operator Series topquilts. But, I don’t like to snap the quilt around my neck. I just cinch it up enough to make it naturally drape over my shoulder and curve around my neck as I side sleep. The TQ’s with the cordlock in the center continually annoy me by hitting me on the side of my cheek—both the cordlock itself and especially the loop of cinched cordage. I don’t have that problem with my side cinched quilt.
