    Whoopie sling

i bought the complete chamleon kit from dutchware it came with the Beetle buckles i am more comfortable with the whoopee system can I use the straps it came with to use a marlen spike they seem kinda thick wondering if I would be better served with a thinner strap or I am putting too much thought into haven't been able to get home to test any thoughts

Any standard hammock suspension webbing will work with MSH. Includes any/all polyester, UHMWPE and Kevlar webbing I have tried.

If the webbing is thick enough and you're feeling brave you can get rid of your marlinspike.
