    Grizz beak preparation

    Hi all.
Wonderful hang last night, 10 hours + of solid sleep so I’d say I’m getting my hang dialled!!
Trying out a “Grizz beak” in prep for winter....had my mamajamba tarp in porch mode and still managed full coverage at the head end with the Grizz beak, brilliant bit of kit.

Love that, what underquilt are you rocking?
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

    There's magic in the woods,
if you know where to look for it.

It is indeed the SLD trailwinder, I went for 6oz apex and it’s lovely so far down to 7-8c.
Looking forward to some winter hangs, but I only see lows of around 0c maybe -5c at the coldest.

Yes! A tiny luxury, but there’s nothing like a candle flickering to mix with the woodland sounds and send someone off to sleep

Totally agree.. I have the original size, and the same micro you have, but it's unpainted. I like it beside my cook kit when making a meal in the winter when sun sets early. I have a crack in the glass and have been searching for a replacement in a lighter material.. no luck so far.
