    Love the New Ridgerunner!

Just received the new Ridgerunner and WOW is it everything we expected. It is for my wife as I am 6'4" and 275lbs but this hammock is so nice I am thinking of losing 25lbs and getting myself one! We got the double layer to put a Nemo Tensor between the layers but I have been fiddling with the underquilts. Not quite sure how to hook up my HG partial. Anyway a great product and thanks to all of you who have posted on it's qualities.

They are a nice piece of equipment. If ya want a bridge and don’t want to drop the pounds you can get a Townsend bug guy bridge. Much larger and can handle the weight. But I agree with ya that the ridge runner is a gem

Saltfly, any idea on the price for the big guy bridge? I have an eldorado and love it but I'm a huge side sleeper and like to shift around a lot when sleeping. I'd love a ridgerunner but I'm 230 and not sure if that is pushing the 250 lb limit on the double layer?

    With a bugnet I think 400 or 425. https://thisgearsforyou.com

Agree the RR is a very nice hammock. I like the BB XLC just slightly more these days but the RR is awesome too. Even got my wife to try hammock camping in the RR and after two nights she was a convert. Got some tents and air mattresses to sell now!

In my never ending quest to lighten my gear load I ultimately realized that “I” was the the biggest opportunity. Dropped almost 50 lbs this year through better diet and more consistent, steady exercise and feel SO much better! Looking forward to the 2021 outdoor season even more now.

Hey TipsyPaddler - just a shout-out congratulations on that weight loss. As someone who has been trying to get those last 20 lbs gone, I can appreciate your effort. In addition to the body weight loss, you can also now consider lighter fabrics.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
