Foothills Trail SC - Need shuttle & place to stash food midway

    Like the title says....

Arrive a Sunday evening, start hiking Monday morning. Would like a secure way to stash the food halfway - my friend's in great shape but has asked that we not do it in 5 days (15mi/day), but rather stretch it to 7 days - that's more food than I'd prefer to carry in my UL pack. If someone would lend a bear canister to us to accomplish this it would be appreciated! I don't ask for much, do I ?

    Thank you!

You can have one of the shuttle drivers provide your food drop half way.

I used Jim “Taz” Simpson for my shuttle - (864) 431-0447.

I would love to hear how this worked out for you, as I hope to do the same in the near future. Which direction are you going in?
    Have a great trip...

Just putting my$0.02 in, I'd strongly recommend going from Oconee SP to Table Rock SP which I think is West to East. That way you get to build up to Sassafras and hike down into beautiful TRSP whereas ending at OSP would just be coming out of the woods.
