    Tarp in snakeskin

If your tarp is in a snakeskin do you also store tarp and skin in another bag for packing?

    If it's dry, yes.

I keep it in the outside of my pack, so if it's dry, I keep it rolled and in it's stuff sack stuffed in an outside pocket upside down to keep it dry. (Yes,I know it's a tarp)

If it's wet when I take it down, then I just roll it up and stuff it in an outside pocket.

I let it slither around loose inside my pack if it's dry, otherwise it goes in the outside mesh pocket on my pack. No stuff sack in either case. It's an easy place to save half an ounce for me, but I can definitely see it bugging some people that like to keep things tidy.

Yes, in a snakeskin, in a stuff sack, on the outside of my pack when backpacking. In a dry bag when canoe camping.

Just the snake skin, slithering around in my pack. Outside of the trash bag everything else is in, if it’s wet.

In mesh snake skins, in the outside pocket. Wet or not.

Always in mesh snake skins, then into a dry sack along with the tree straps that are stored in a ziplock and my ground sheet, also in a ziplock.

Packed only in snakeskin and carried in outside pocket or strapped to outside, depending on the backpack. Wet or dry doesn't matter, stakes stored in a side pocket. I always want to be able to deploy the tarp without opening the pack.

In skin, in a stuff sack wet or dry. However, if wet it goes in the front pocket and if dry it goes in my pack.

Yeah mine came with a stuff sack so after it's in the skin I stuff it in my sack.
