Pictures of your packed Econ Burrow top quilt?

Curious to see how small they pack. If you have pictures, please share (along with their rating and sizing info).

    Thanks in advance!

Here's what we provide with our quilts:

    0-10-20 degree = 8.5 liter stuff sack
    30 degree = 5.5 liter stuff sack
    40 degree = 4.5 liter stuff sack

Because our quilts are filled with Down, they'll definitely pack down smaller with a compression sack.

Econ Burrow 20 degree, 2 oz overstuff

About 4 liters appears to be the max limit and something I wouldn't recommend.

8 liter stuff sack reduced to about 7 liters is reasonable.

Does anyone have a 'stuffed' comparison for a Phoenix vs the same temp rating Incubator? Thinking 20deg ideally.

How about comparing different temp rating Incubators? How much smaller would a 20deg pack vs a 40deg?

I'm very surprised I'm not able to find really any other threads comparing packed sizes of quilts.

That might be because it's quite subjective, depending entirely on how much the quilts are compressed. With enough compression you could probably get a 0deg incubator with 20D shell smashed down to the size of a small cantaloupe.

However, most people use stuff sacks, and no matter what size stuff sack you use, the quilt — whether a 30deg or a 0deg — will expand to fill whatever space is available.

Personally, I don't use stuff sacks. I stuff quilts straight into the bottom of my pack and other items on top compress them as needed for whatever volume of pack I'm using and other gear I'm carrying.

I couldn’t tell you you what my quilts stuff down to. They go in the bottom of my pack, loose, with other gear on top. I stopped stuffing several years ago but if you try hard enough you can stuff anything inside of another thing. I learned that working in a supermarket in high school
