    Hi There from Germany

Thank you to give me the possibility to participate on the Knowledge of You and the Forum.

I`m from Germany Duisburg (born in Austria), was backpacking since a Child (mostly in the Austrian Alps) and since about 12 Years I made the one or other long distance hike in Europa.

Hammock as a relaxing Device I use and know my livetime (mor or less), but to use it as sleeping device, I think I stumbled on the Forum UL Trekking (ultraleicht-trekking.com) a few Months ago.

And because of, don’t get to soft and keep the skills of hard sleeping, I also sleep at home on the ground, the circumstances with middle 50 get more and more disappointing.
So I decide to get up with the fascinating possibility of hammocking. Respectively I try to find a healthy and comfort Setup. Either with a GE Hammock (easy to get in and handle) or with a 90° Hammock with the benefits of using a Sleeping-Pad and be more flexible on Tour.

Howsoever, this was my ambition to join this Forum. I think primly that there is enough Knowledge already there, that I have to read. So perhaps my Postings-count becomes not very high. But nevertheless I`m very lucky that I can benefit from your Experience and would like to thank you very much for that.

    Andreas

PS.: Sorry for my bad English.

Willkommen im Forum, and howdy from Texas. Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in Europe. I had the good fortune to visit Marl Germany not so long ago and it was lovely. No hammock time though.

    Mit freundlichen Grüßen!
