AL>Sipsey>Nov 5-8 - BACKPACKING AND sleeping out on the trail

A couple of us are planning a Backpacking trip into Sipsey Wilderness, and anyone who likes to backpack is welcome to join us!
We plan to arrive on Thursday, Nov 5 and stay out there until Sunday, Nov 8th, OR possibly even stay out until Monday, Nov 9th. The plan is to just hike a few miles [3-8 miles MAX each day] and do lots of lounging in our hammocks in the afternoons and evenings with campfires, whisky, and cooking our backpacking food.
We figured the more the merrier, so if you want to meet up, let us know and we will coordinate a meeting spot at one of the trailheads.
We haven't yet outlined our route but we plan to see "The Tree" and the waterfall near there, as well and any other interesting sights we can come up with on those trails.

The whiskey and lounging part sounds good You can always have two or three groups with plan your groups wisely.

I’m thinking we won’t have more than a handful of backpackers. Especially because you guys are having your event in the next 2 weeks. But yes, we will certainly limit our group and advise any +10 overflow hikers to form a 2nd separate group.

in any wilderness you can't have more than 10 people in your group

3 so far. If we hit 11, we will send the last person out on a snipe hunt!! And leave them to the wild hogs! But seriously, I believe we won’t hit 10.

At this rate, I’m hoping the weather is cool enough to be sleeping outside.
