I used a pattern by Bic (Utube) but enlarged it, wider and longer

Sooooo Beautiful! How far apart do the trees have to be? What will you’ll use for a bugnet and UQ?
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

    No Bugnet yet
I have a JRB 20 degree Mt Washington which fits perfectly
The pad is good to freezing or below

Looks great! I like the color. Where did you get the grommets? Debating adding something like that to my bridge.

I got the grommets at Tractor Supply, but they’re common

Sorry to push on this - what’s the minimum distance you need for trees/support? I’m asking because usually a bridge hammock requires more distance that a GE and for that reason I’ve only brought one on adventures. My adventure partner uses it and I take the GE for more tree options. So I have an interest in bridges that require less distance than the 13 ft suggested for the WB Ridge Runner.

    Nice work Redfish!

"Longer and wider" should answer yer question on the tree to tree distance. Unless the gentleman cheated- an end bar bridge requires a longer tree to tree distance.
The only way I'm aware of to reduce that number is to recess the bars as the suspension triangle begins at the bar.

I wouldn’t go under 15 feet. Might do 14, but probably no less
