I like to run the RL through the larks head and then loop the eye of the RL over the long end of the CL to secure it. I find that to be the most tidy way to attach the RL. I wonder if that explanation made sense?

Yes, that makes sense to me. That is what I'm planning on doing.
    Thanks,

Made this very setup last year (maybe prior to that)..

Mtn 1.2 netless. This stuff is a bit of an anomaly as it is very light, yet doesn't have as much stretch as other similar weight fabrics. The crispy feel of the Mtn fabric takes some getting used to, but it's my go-to netless.

Consider making it longer. Even a half foot longer, but ideally go to 11 feet. The weight penalty pails compared the additional comfort you'll see. Most of mine are 10.6" or full 11'.

Consider knotty mods to wrangle in all the extra fabric.

I used to thread the CL through the end channel, but all of my hammocks now use a hybrid whipping. I find it to be more secure and easier to work with. Plus I can see the CL to inspect it, rather than having it buried in the end channel.

These are the plans I use for nearly all of my hammock bodies. Dimensions for knotty mods, side pull outs and peak and foot loft loops. Leave out what isn't needed.

Dig around in my albums.. there are tons of build pictures in there. Maybe something you can use....
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....
