Anyone use the Blue Ridge ACTIV throws for UQ or TQ?

I've read about making the DIY Costco UQs - those throws are not available at this time. Was wondering if anyone has tried, or has any thoughts, on the Blue Ridge ACTIV Package Throws available from Costco?
    https://www.costco.com/blue-ridge-ac...100506435.html
I'm wondering if these could be used to make an UQ.
    Thanks!

I recently made 2 sets using Leiavoia’s Gemini design with these quilts. I had them backpacking this past weekend at Morrow Mountain State Park just west of Uhwarrie NF. They worked great!

    And hi from Durham!

Thanks! I was thinking of using them for Leiavoia's Gemini - since it was in the mid 40's here in Durham last weekend, how was it at Morrow Mountain and how did the setup perform?
And hello from Durham! I saw another post by you - we were in Pack 400, so maybe we've bumped into each other before....

They worked well. I just added my thoughts on the Gemini thread

I’m with Troop 456 - first weekend backpacking with a new, young troop, and it was great! Temperatures were in the lower 40s. I use the Gemini in “summer mode” but I stayed warm. And I got to introduce a few Scouters to hammock camping. The phrase “best night of camping sleep I’ve had” may have been uttered.

Thanks for the info! I read your post over there - sounds like it will be a decent fit for down into the 30's. Not planning on camping in anything colder than that at this time, so I think I'm going to order a set.

Just following up - I only made the bottom portion to the Gemini system so far, and used the unmodified Blue Ridge blanket as a top quilt.
Down to about 42F I was fine and warm while wearing a pair of jeans, T-Shirt, and reasonably thin wool socks. The next night the temps dropped to 39F and I ended up also crawling into a sleep bag since I kept getting chilly. Slight breeze both nights, maybe 1 mph, but this could also have just been the thermals.
After getting into the 50F sleeping bag, I was quite toasty.
I plan to make the top portion of this next week and am keen to try it in fall/winter mode to see how far I can take it.
