New hammock out of spec?
After sleeping in my eno for several years the seams started to show wear & I decided it was time to upgrade. I found this forums & after a bit of research decided to try a basic 11’ hammock to see if the larger size made a difference before investing in a full set up. The first night in the hammock I kept waking up way off to one side of the hammock & even after repositioning I felt I was being dumped back into the right side of the hammock. I thought i might have just had one too many before bed but after experiencing the same thing a second weekend I started looking for a cause. I noticed if I flipped the hammock upside down I fell to the other side so I eventually took the CL out & measured both sides, I found one side is about 1 1/4” longer than the other. Anybody know if this would cause the hammock to feel unbalanced or is this a normal variance ? Thanks for the help

I don't think the CLs would do that...they just connect you to the suspension. Maybe it's an asym hammock and you're trying to lay against the set direction? When you flipped it over, did you lay the same way?

Might have worded that wrong, the CL’s are the same length I just meant I removed them so I could measure the hammock body & one side of the hammock is over an inch longer than the other

Yes, the unbalanced feeling could be caused by the sloppy cut. Although 1.25" is not a lot. Try whipping it along a straight line and see if it improves the lay.
