I had the "numb feet" problem a couple nights myself when I started hammock hanging--from having them above my head, as you suggested.

hey everyone, I tried some of the tips you all have gave me. and I thank I got it down but not sure. I am heading to siler bald via winding stair gap on saturday for the night and kite flying so I will try it out there. I will let you all know how it goes.
