JRB gear is great. Never been cold in any of my JRB quilts. They fit all hammocks well.
I have the Greylock 4 and it is super warm and thick and comes up nice and high on the sides. Good for a side sleeper to cover their knees.

I love them. I have never been cold using them on Gathered or bridge hammocks. I live too far south to get many opportunities to test them at their limits. Still, with out having to resort to my many tricks for extending a quilt, I have been very warm(could have gone lower) sleeping just in cotton PJs, at 25F with an MW3 hung below a JRB bridge hammock. So could have gone lower, but who knows how much.

Also hung under a JRB bridge hammock, I have been warm at 10ºF using my old(no longer have it) 0ºF rated JRB MW4. Also, at a very windy 18F(wind chill way below 18F), with the tarp doing poorly at blocking wind, I was toasty all night at 18F with the MW4 hung under a WB Black Bird. I don't have that UQ anymore, but I do have it's shorty cousin the Greylock 4. I have never had the opportunity ( not every one is as fortunate as Shug ) to test it anywhere near it's rating. But it has been a beast at keeping me warm at less severe temps, on both bridge and gathered hammocks, and is extremely easy to get adjusted right and has lots of side coverage.

So, I have always had great success with all my JRB quilts. Here is that Greylock 4 hanging under JRB James River bridge. I love to lean back into the sides of these JRB bridges. Notice how nicely that UQ is insulating those sides so I can lean back into them and remain warm.

I love my MW3, I'm 5'9 in 10-11f hammocks, took it down to 35-40f (almost 0C) in Quebec with winds (I use a UQ protector since beginning so don't know if wind gets in without) and been able to sleep without TQ with just a TC most of the nights. I bought three other quilts from Jrb afterwards. Don't know if it changed but mine can't be used with UQ hooks, there is no cord running along edges, took me some tries (but even when I didn't know what I was doing, like all mistakes Shug talks about in his vids, I didn't get cold, just less confortable because sometimes any UQ can modify the "hang of the hammock"). So yes, I like it. When it goes down below 35f I always added a 40fUq to it, never tried alone (maybe it would be ok but I prefer to avoid cold butt) because I like peace of mind more than tests, for that reason maybe I should have bought Mw4 (peace of mind vs few ounces.). Also, Jrb are there to answer any questions, before and after buying.

I have JRB Old Rag Mountain 1 for TQ and 1 for UQ. I have had them down to 15F with no issues at all. I like the fact that I can order and have it shipped out next day
