Advice on using guylines on my hammock while using an underquilt

Looking for suggestions on using guylines on my hammock while also using an underquilt. When I have the pull outs attached, the underquilt gets pulled down under the hammock and it's annoying to adjust. Or do pull outs and underquilts not really work together with guylines?

I've all but given up on using hammock timeouts with my underquilts. Not sure I need them, but following to hear what others do.

Are you attaching on both sides? I just use the head end pull out to keep the bug net off my face. I find the foot end guylines are unnecessary. My hammock has pack hooks that I can attach the UQ shock cord suspension and that does a good job of keeping the UQ in place. I'm using the HG Phoenix on a DW Half Zip.

I use the head side pull out all the time.

I have a prussik tied to the hammocks tie out point and I use 1.2 Z-Line for a prussik (I hate prussiks) and the first two or three feet of cordage through the prussik because it's stiff and easy to negotiate in the dark, cold, wet or with gloves on. Dutch wire would work similarly. The Z-Line is tied to ~ 12" - 18" of 1/16" shock cord using an albright knot, and at the end of the shock cord I have a Tato door hook spliced into an eye.

If I am tarpless I can stake out the pull out using the eye, but more often I just clip the door hook to the head end tarp guy line. I leave it loose or unclipped until I am in (I can usually reach the tarp guy line when in the hammock). Once settled, I tighten the pull out via the prussik until it just stretches the shock cord and pulls the hammock side out. This is enough to pull the hammock side and bug net out and off my face, but not enough to interfere with the UQ or become too tight if/when the hammock swings.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....
