Easy way to identify an XLC?

    Hi everyone,

I bought an XLC (I think) from a user on here about a year and a half ago and never actually verified it was an XLC. I'm thinking of selling it soon and want to be 100% sure, but I'm finding it unruly to measure the hammock itself or the ridgeline. Are their any clear distinguishing factors to an XLC that might help me?

    Thanks!

edit: Sorry for the embarrassing spelling error I had.

The XLC has a shelf. I’d start there.
Did they say what year it was initially bought?
You could also compare to Warbonnet pics on the Wayback Machine website.

Thanks. Not sure the year. The pics of the WBBB also show a shelf so I'm not sure if I'm understanding what you mean when you say a shelf.

Yes but I'm having trouble measuring it properly since the material is so floppy when I hang it. Is it 11 when it's laying flat on the ground?

It weights 1 lb 9 oz which means it would either be a heavyweight double layer wbbb or a lightweight double layer XLC.

I think I'll try to measure the ridgeline even though that's difficult because the ends are bunched up with the gathered part of the hammock.

Yes, try to lay it and measure.

Apologies - didn’t realize you had already nailed it down between the WBBB and the XLC.

Pretty sure the WBBB never had a removable bugnet either.

Okay then I think I have the XLC since the net is removable. TY!
