That was likely the worst hang I have ever done. The high winds had me all befuddled and my feet were way too low. Suffered all night because of it. Why I didn't make and adjustment when I woke to water the leaves, I don't know.

Love that fire place. Ordered one as soon as I got home. And the Ramen as well. I got a really appreciative thank you email from the merchant so took the opp to shared a few ideas.. A Ti version, and a way to rig it so we could put a mug/pot in it. He was happy to chat about it. Held off on ordering the Cuy. I'll let Grandma The Assassin hook up us next trip.

I would have searched for that wind screen all night. I wasn't going to stop until you called it!! Sadly we were scouring in the totally wrong direction...
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Not really LOL, it goes to show that logic doesn't always apply.

Still I appreciate the extreme effort!

The owner reached out to me personally, too; I thought that was a nice touch.

A Ti version would be fantastic, and I’m sure we’d pay dearly for it

I can do a day hike Sunday. Still working out the details.

My 20 degree TQ shipped yesterday. I've been holding off venturing into the cold until it arrives. My 20 degree sleeping bag takes up 2/3 of my Arc Blast and weighs a ton. I went out once with it....won't do it again. Might do a day hike Sunday.

I don't know what mileage people want to do, but here's a nice, fairly easy loop (7.3 mi) from Silvermine to Brien, AT to RD to LP and back to Silvermine on Menomine.

Sounds like a plan coming together.
