Cougar, you didn't say where you want to use these... I wouldn't use them on the ridge line for fear they wouldn't hold, regardless of the cordage used.
I have a few different Linelocs on my cuben tarps. On the Palace I am using Lineloc 3 Hooks clipped to the 1/2 beastie d's at all corners. I use ZPacks 1.2 ZLine on all ground corners and it's a bit small for Lineloc 3s, and does slip. To remedy this, I cut a small notch in the linelocs V channel that successfully bites the cordage and they now work great.
On both standards, which also use 1.2 ZLine, I removed the beasties and sewed on Lineloc 5's. These are designed for the smaller cordage and I have yet to have one slip. That said, as a precaution, and purely out of habit, I throw a slipped half hitch in the guy lines just below the line loc. Serves a safety precaution and gets my excess line up off the ground.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I've also gone as far as putting my loop through a Slide Lock when splicing it and then larkshead to the triangle, but I don't think that the Slide Lock holds quite as well as a Line Lock V (at least with 1.3mm cordage).
