Hello Everyone!

I'm brand new to the majestic world of backpacking and hammock camping. I've spent the last several years going out on consistent day hikes and about three years ago I bought my first doublenester hammock. It was good enough to be mocking around the woods but it was finally time to upgrade. I found out about hammock camping and upgraded to a Dutchware Chameleon. I'm looking to perfect my knots and perfect my system to eventually hike the AT.

I have two friends who are also interested in hammock camping and were all try get ourselves sorted to go out on first camping trip this October. We've been having trouble sourcing underquilts but we'll use sleeping pads if we must! We don't want to let this season escape us.

Hoping to meet some new friends here and maybe get some guidance in the way of the hammock. Can't wait to start this adventure!
