I haven't been able to get out much lately due to my dog. She was old, mean and and had bad hips/joints. My kennel kindly requested I "find another kennel". All my friends had dogs or cats and she didn't get along with other animals, or people other than me, for that matter. That's what you get sometimes with rescue dogs that were probably abused. Would do it again, though. She was so sweet with me, but it took a long time to build up trust. Sadly, she passed a few weeks ago. My urge to hike and hammock camp is coming back strong and I have done some DIY upgrades and should be good to 0 degrees (F), but I'll have to test that in the back yard and car camping first! See y'all in the woods!
