    Panel Pull Poles

I am looking at getting some of the panel pull poles for my hammocks.
I noticed on the website that the long option is no longer there.

I have both a Cloudburst and a Superfly, I notice the blurb says the long ones are needed for the Cloudburst.

Will these be coming back in stock or is it possible to use the short ones on the Clouburst?

Can you use your hiking poles instead? I need some for my Cloudburst but it's a lot more weight to carry

Trekking poles work on the Thunderfly and Superfly.

    Panel Pull Poles

I generally do not use trekking poles when I hike. I have a single carbon staff I use instead.

The staff I use is a z packs carbon, might be able to rig some way of using that which I hadn’t thought of before now.

I have a length of zing it with a stopper knot at one end larks headed to the panel pullout and a prussik loop tied to the panel pullout line. The loop is big enough to fit over the trekking pole handle.

Don't have a cloudburst, but the pole option on the WB site has them much longer than the TF/SF.

Here's a pic of it rigged. I tightened up the CRL after I took the pic. I remember this day being super windy and I was getting blasted by the sand (we were island camping).

Here's a shot that shows the zing it. Zoom in and you can see the loop prussiked onto what I guess is about 18" of zing it.
